The Rays announced after Tuesday's 6-5 loss to the Los Angeles Angels that pitcher Matt Moore will make a rehab start at Triple-A Durham Thursday when the Bulls are in Gwinnett to take on the Braves.

Moore has been on the disabled list since July 31 with left elbow soreness.  He is scheduled to return on Tampa Bay's west coast road trip in early September.

The team also announced that right-hander Jake Odorizzi will be called up Thursday to start the finale against the Los Angeles Angels.

The 23-year-old has no record with a 6.00 earned run average with the Rays this season in four appearances, three starts.  Odorizzi is 9-6 with a 3.33 ERA in 22 starts with Durham.

The recall of Odorizzi means left-hander David Price will see his start pushed back to Friday, and Alex Cobb will now pitch Saturday in Jeremy Hellickson's spot.  Hellickson was optioned to Single-A Charlotte Tuesday to rest after going 0-5 in his last six starts.
