LONGORIA TO MISS TIME WITH FOOT INJURY, ROBERTS BACK: 3B Evan Longoria (plantar fasciitis) says his right foot feels better than it did Friday, when he left in the second inning after running out a ground ball, but he's not sure just how long it will be before he returns to the field.

"It could be a couple of days, it could be a couple of weeks," he said before Saturday's game.

In the meantime, the team has recalled INF Ryan Roberts from Triple-A Durham, and optioned RHP Alex Colome, who took the loss Friday night.

GOMES SUFFERS SETBACK: According to manager Joe Maddon, reliever Brandon Gomes, who is coming back from a lat strain, felt more soreness than expected after warming up Thursday in Port Charlotte.  He will be re-evaluated Saturday.
