The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for the bay area through Wednesday. A low pressure system moving along a stalled frontal boundary is bringing heavy to moderate rainfall across the area most of today and into tomorrow. 4-6 inches of rain have already fallen in parts of the area, with 3-5 inches more expected through Wednesday evening. Residents living in flood prone areas need to be alert to any rapid rise in the water level.
