Bond Set For Movie Theater Suspect

(Dade City, Fla. - WFLA)  A judge has set bond at $150,000 for Curtis Reeves, the former Tampa police officer accused of shooting and killing a man at a Wesley Chapel Movie Theater. The decision came after a appeals court ruled Friday that the circuit court made a mistake in denying bond for Reeves.

The 71 year old has been in jail since the January 13th shooting.  He's charged with first degree murder in the death of Chad Oulsen.

Other conditions of Reeves' release include house arrest, GPS monitoring and no contact with the wife of Chad Oulsen.  In addition, Reeves will be required to surrender his firearms.

Nicole Oulsen's attorney, T. J. Grimaldi, says she's upset, and that Reeves does not deserve to be out of jail.
