BRADENTON, Fla. (970 WFLA) – Bradenton firefighters are investigating a house fire that happened just before 8 p.m. Saturday on the 1600 block of 4th Avenue East.
When crews arrived, firefighters saw smoke and flames coming from a first floor window. The two residents were not in the home at the time of the fire, but the resident's dog was found deceased, firefighters said.
No one was injured, officials said, and the American Red Cross is helping out.
No word yet on the cause.
