Greyhound bus involved in fatal crash in North Fla.

JASPER, Fla. (WFLA.com) – A Greyhound bus that departed from Tampa earlier in the day was involved in a multi-vehicle crash Friday night that claimed the lives of two men on Interstate 75 in Hamilton County.

The incident occurred at approximately
11:44 p.m. just south of Jasper.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol a 1993 Buick Century driven by 91-year-old Ernest Lee Holmes of High Springs triggered the chain reaction crash when he hit a 2013 Ford Expedition head-on. Holmes and the driver of the Expedition, 55-year-old Peter J. Linek of
Ormond Beach, died at the scene.
