Joint Warrants Operation is a Sweeping Success

(NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. - WFLA)  The Pasco Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, New Port Richey Police Department, Tarpon Spring Police Department, Zephyrhills Police Department, Dade City Police Department, Port Richey Police Department, FDLE, FHP, and the state Probation and Parole, has completed the largest warrant sweep in the agency's history.

Operation Cold Justice began on Tuesday morning and ran until Wednesday night.
During that time, the 10 agencies sought wanted suspects in Pasco and Pinellas Counties and made:
* 557 warrant service attempts
* 302 individual arrests
* 339 warrants served
* 155 new criminal charges

"Operation Cold Justice was a multi-jurisdictional operation that allowed us to arrest subjects with outstanding warrants in the most effective and safe manner," said Pinellas Sheriff Bob Gulatieri. "We were able to build relationships between various agencies while working together to get criminals off the streets and help our communities become a safer place to live."

During the sweep, officers were able to make a variety of arrests including:
* David Schneider, arrested for operating a large marijuana grow house where a
cache of guns was also discovered. This suspect was also trafficking cocaine.
* Scott Dawson, violating his parole on a lewd and lascivious conviction, as
he was living within feet of where children play in their front yards.
* Kenneth Booker, a fugitive from justice out of Georgia, wanted for two
counts of aggravated battery and firearms possession.
* Harold Fiscus, possession of marijuana, contempt of court, and who is also a
violent sexual predator.
* Georges Momejian, possession of spice. He had two bags of spice that he
says he planned to send to a relative in Egypt.

"Neighborhoods in Pasco and Pinellas were positively impacted by this united law enforcement operation, said Pasco Sheriff Chris Nocco. "We struck criminals off-guard and gained valuable information for further investigations."
