 Lion found after escaping cage in Pasco sanctuary

UPDATE: Deputies said the lion has been located within the sanctuary and will be moved back to a cage soon.

SPRING HILL, Fla. (970 WFLA) - The Pasco County Sheriff's Office ag unit is assisting the FWC in locating a lion believed to be loose at the Survival Outreach Sanctuary. 

Deputies said this is located at 22005 Bowman Road in Spring Hill - on the Pasco County side.

Authorities said no one has been evacuated but to be cautious driving in the area.

PCSO said officials have surrounded the sanctuary and believe the lion is in the enclosure and are just trying to find it.
