Substitute Teacher Arrested For Dealing Meth

Lake Wales, Fla.-(970 WFLA)-A substitute teacher and an assistant football coach at Haines City High school has been arrested on drug charges.  Polk deputies say 24 year-old Chad Alexander was selling methamphetamine and marijuana.

Detectives noticed some people in a car at a gas station in Lake Wales smoking pot.  Deputies stopped the car a short time after it left the station.  Inside, deputies say they found a baggie of generic xanax, three baggies of meth, a bag with a quarter pound of marijuana and scales for weighing the stuff.

Also inside the car were Alexander, 24 year-old Michael Gray of Lake Wales and 22 year-old Paul Burr of Haines City.  Deputies say the car was rented to Alexander

Alexander is facing trafficking and possession charges. Burr is also charged with trafficking and possession.  Gray is charged with possession.
