Lightning Draft Picks, Rounds 2-7

After selecting LW Jonathan Drouin with the third overall pick in the 2013 NHL Draft, the Tampa Bay Lightning decided to draft back-to-back at the position and selected Adam Erme, from the QMJHL's Quebec Remparts. 

Erme entered the 2011 QMJHL Draft and was selected by the Halifax Moosheads. commiHe was selected by Halifax in the second round.

Obtained by Quebec in a trade in July 2011, Erne decided to forego college hockey (he was committed to Boston College) and skated in the QMJHL. In his first season with the Remparts he played in 64 games, scoring 28 goals with 27 assists and was plus-six with 32 penalty minutes. 

Last season, Erne was the leading scorer for the Remparts with 28 goals and 44 assits in 68 games. The Connecticut native was plus-11 with 67 penalty minutes.

Representing USA in the Ivan Hlinka Tournament, he scored two goals and was named Player of the Game in the United States' only win – a 5-3 victory over Slovakia. Erne was ranked 26th amongst North American skaters in Central Scouting's final rankings prior to the 2013 NHL Draft.
