Saturday Mike Garafalo of FOXSports.com reports a settlement of sorts between the Bucs and kicker Lawerence Tynes.
According to THIS tweet, the Bucs will instead of placing Tynes on Injured Reserve, place him on the non-football injury list. The key is the Bucs would offer to pay Tynes' salary.
There was a chance the team might go with a more hardball approach and simply cut Tynes.
Earlier this week Tynes' wife disputed the Bucs' notion that he was progressing well in his recovery from MRSA. Both Tynes and OG Carl Nicks picked up infections and it was believed to have been from One Bucs Place, which has since been sanitized multiple times.
There's a chance Tynes disputes the designation. We'll have more for certain as the Bucs are set to make their roster cutdowns Saturday.
