According to Tampa Bay Times beat writer and WDAE co-host Rick Stroud, the Bucs season just went from bad to worse, at least in the short term, as he is reporting second-year running back Doug Martin has a torn labrum in his left shoulder.

Martin, who represented the NFC in the Pro Bowl last season after an amazing rookie campaign, had struggled to regain the numbers that sent him to Honolulu, amassing 456 yards on 127 carries (3.6 ypc) through six games this season.
Now, it appears the shoulder injury that knocked him out of yesterday's game could very well sideline him for a good portion of the remainder of the season.
WDAE will keep you posted once the Bucs confirm or deny the report.
