Rays outfielder Wil Myers is adding to his hardware collection for his first big-league season.
The Major League Baseball players have named Myers the Outstanding Rookie in the American League.
The soon-to-be 23-year-old finished 2013 with a .293 batting average with 13 home runs and 53 RBI in 88 games with Tampa Bay.
Myers beat out teammate Chris Archer and Detroit's Jose Iglesias for the award.
The Rays outfielder had already won the Sporting News award for top American League rookie, and looks to be the odds-on favorite for the American League Rookie of the Year award, which will be announced by the Baseball Writers Association of America on November 11.
