With the arbitration deadline looming, Rays starting pitcher Jeremy Hellickson, reliever Jake McGee, and infielder Sean Rodriguez have decided to work out deals with the club.
Tampa Bay and Mcgee have reportedly agreed to a one-year deal woth $1.45 million, while Hellickson gets $3.625 million and Rodriguez will make $1.475 million in 2014. The deals were first reported by Joel Sherman of the New York Post.

Hellickson finished the year 12-10, but had a disappointing 5.17 earned run average, and was sent to the minors in August to rest for September. McGee went 5-3 in 71 games in 2013, but saw his ERA balloon from 1.95 in 2012 to 4.02 last year. Rodriguez appeared in 96 games, hitting .246 / .320 / .385 with 5 home runs and 23 RBI.
