Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr. was gracious enough to join WDAE's Sports Page live in studio on Wednesday morning.
Ripken, in town for an event with Transitions to promote vision health for children, spoke plenty about the Rays.
And he has no problem with the assortment of "quirky" Joe Maddon pre-game rituals, which on Tuesday featured a merinque band and dancer in the clubhouse.
"I love Joe Maddon as a baseball guy," Ripken said. "In some ways, all fhis talk about all the other things takes the focus off how good a baseball guy he is."
