Rays team President Matt Silverman, after a night of celebrating, gladly got up early to join the Sports Page to discuss Monday's dramatic win in Texas.
Silverman talked about, among other things, the blown umpire's call that fortunately did not cost the Rays their season.
"You want the play on the field to deterine the outcome. You don't want a bad call, a mistake to have an effect," Silverman told Rick Stroud and Ronnie Lane. "Those are the kinds of things that will be fixed wtih replay. You just can't have a play like that missed... can't have in Game 52 but it really can't happen in Game 163."
