Brady Williams is a name most Rays fans won't recognize, but they'll sure like what he had to say Wednesday night.
Williams is the manager of the Rays' Single-A affiliate in Port Charlotte. And after David Price's outing Wednesday for Charlotte, Williams had this assessment:
Price threw 72 pitches and hit 95 mph on his fastball.
He told the Tampa Bay Times : "Obviously it's not in my hands, but I put my best foot foward. It was very good to have the results I had."
Previously in THIS conversation with Ron and Ian Tampa Bay manager Joe Maddon said Price may only need one more rehab start (the Wednesday outing)
