Training camp officially gets underway for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week marking the beginning of the 2013-2014 NFL season.  On Monday morning, ESPN NFL analyst Chris Mortensen was on with 620 WDAE's Rick Stroud and Ronnie Lane to talk about the Bucs and give his insight on the likes of Darrelle Revis, Josh Freeman, and what the outlook is for Tampa Bay this year.  Regarding the Bucs biggest acquisition this off-season in Revis, Mortensen had some pretty high praise for the All-Pro cornerback.

"You're talking about one of the ten best football players in the league," Mortensen said of Revis.  "Not just the best corner but one of the ten best football players."

Earlier last week, ESPN analyst Ron Jaworski ranked Freeman towards the bottom of his QB rankings for the upcoming season.  His colleague, however, had a different take on the Bucs fifth-year QB.

"Josh Freeman has the capabilities to be a top 12 quarterback." Mortensen said.
