Jackson Expects Bucs Offense To Have Explosive Season

by Ryan Adams
Buccaneers training camp is just a few weeks away and wide receiver Vincent Jackson is gearing up for his second season in pewter and red.  Jackson was a guests Monday morning on 620 WDAE's Sports Page program with Tom Jones and Rick Stroud  and discussed how the Bucs are looking so far this off season.

"I think there's an opportunity for us to be even more explosive than we were last year," Jackson said about the Bucs' offense.

Jackson also offered his take on quarterback Josh Freeman as he enters his fifth season in the league as well as his contract year.  With the team drafting QB Mike Glennon in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, there has been much speculation about the future for Freeman here in Tampa Bay.

"Absolutely man, Josh is our guy," Jackson said.  "Couldn't be more excited for Josh coming into the second year in this system.  He's gonna be way, way, way ahead of the curve as far as where we started last year."
