The Buccaneers fell to 0-3 on the young NFL season only managing three points against Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots defense which has played stellar so far in 2013. The Pats defense through three games allowing only 11.3 points per game, which is tied for second best in the NFL. That defensive effort showed in their contest against Josh Freeman and a struggling, injured Buccaneers offense which lost star receiver Vincent Jackson early in the second half due to a rib injury.
